Places Dogs Can Swim Near Anchorage

Alaska K9 Aquatics (Anchorage, AK) is a swimming facility specially made with our canine friends in mind. Whether you want your dog to learn how to swim for the first time or just want to bring your dog for a nice swim party, this swimming center for dogs will welcome you and your doggo. They also offer hydrotherapy to help rehabilitate injured or aging dogs. Instructors are all professionally trained dog trainers. If you want to help your dog lose weight, K9 Aquatics also has a suitable exercise program for overweight dogs.

University Lake Dog Park (Anchorage, AK) is a popular dog park close to Alaska Pacific University. There are areas where dogs can have fun, both on-leash and off-leash. There’s a massive lake that is about 28 acres wide where your dog can take a swim. There are beavers in the area, though. Therefore, dog parents must not let your dogs disturb them and give beavers lots of space. The park has amenities like tables for picnics and benches to sit on.
